TK THEATRE-STUDIO is an engaging, collaborative learning space for artists of all ages to embolden their storytelling and explore their craft.

TK THEATRE-STUDIO is led by stage director Timothy Koch. He draws on over a decade of professional experience, including work on Broadway, the West End, off Broadway, and Regional and educational work across the country. He’s directed and taught acting, Shakespeare, and audition technique at programs including AMDA New York, University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Art, Quinnipiac University, NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program (GMTWP), Case Western Reserve University, Michigan State University, and the Riverdale YMWHA Summerstage Program in the Bronx.

Tim has worked with some of the finest actors of our time, including
Dame Judi Dench, Robin Williams, Alfred Molina, Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, Ben Whishaw, David Strathairn, Jessica Chastain, Arian Moayed, and Daniel Radcliffe.

Tim is a company member of the Tectonic Theater Project, where he’s trained in their Moment Work devising method. As an Associate Director he’s worked alongside the award winning directors Michael Grandage and Moisés Kaufman. He’s accumulated a wide array of techniques, experience, and approaches, which allow him to meet each student’s unique needs.

Timothy has staged new plays, musicals, operas, American classics, Shakespeare productions, readings, and workshops across the country.

Currently, Timothy is directing Life In Pink written and performed by Sarah Nedwek as part of The Barrow Group’s SoloFest 2026.
